VIAB Commonwealth Steering Group to promote $1.5M R&D Grants
To promote R&D partnerships between Israeli and Virginia companies with $1.5M funding from the BIRD Foundation that funds joint Industrial R&D projects between US and Israeli companies in various technological sectors, VIAB built a Commonwealth-wide steering Group including: the Secretary of Commerce and Trade’s office; Virginia Manufacturers Association; Virginia Innovation Partnership Corp. Lighthouse Labs; Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services; Virginia Tech Carilion (VTC); Fairfax County; Arlington Economic Development; Alexandria Economic Development Partnership; Hampton Road Business Alliance; Dominion Energy Innovation Center and others.
