Three Virginia Israel partnerships receive $1M each in R&D grants

The Virginia Israel Advisory  Board represents the Israel-U.S. Binational Industrial Research and Development Fund (The BIRD Foundation) who provide grants up to $1.5M for collaboration between Israeli and American companies.

30% of last funding round for the entire U.S. was granted to Virginia – Israel partnerships.

Israel – Virginia partnerships that received $1M grants were:

     – Israel Aerospace Industries and MELD Printworks
     – Sheba Medical Center and Serpin Pharma
     – Tissue Dynamics and ATCC

Grants are awarded for partnerships in: Industrial R&D, Homeland Security & Public Safety, Cyber Security and Energy
