Fiscal Year 2023 Annual Report

This year’s crowning achievement was the appointment of the Virginia Israel Advisory Board as a representative of the US-Israel Binational R&D grant program managed by the BIRD Foundation that funds (up to $1.5 million) R&D projects between U.S. and Israeli companies. To date: 25 Virginia Israel partnerships received millions of dollars of BIRD funding.

Our Chairman, Mel Chaskin cited a “continued increase our economic impact, namely more than $6 billion as cited by The Dragas Center for Economic Policy and Analysis at Old Dominion University that analyzed four Israeli companies with their U.S. headquarters and/or core operations in the Commonwealth of Virginia.”
